The short answer

Ultra Clean uses an Ashbys Enforcer professional carpet and upholstery cleaning machine with pressure capability up to 400 PSI. Made in the UK, it supports extraction work on suitable materials. The maximum rating is not a setting used on every carpet or sofa.

What the 400 PSI figure means

PSI is a unit of pressure. In the Enforcer’s specification it describes the pump’s capability, rather than a measure of how clean a carpet will become. Ashbys lists adjustable pressure and flow controls for its 400 PSI Enforcer configuration.

The working approach must still suit the item. Carpet and upholstery are not identical cleaning tasks, and increasing pressure is not a universal solution to a stubborn mark. We discuss the material, condition and concern before selecting how to clean it.

Extraction needs recovery as well as application

An extraction machine is used to apply controlled liquid and recover it with released soil through its vacuum system. The tool, operation and preparation all contribute to the job. A machine name alone does not explain what will happen in your home.

The Enforcer is part of Ultra Clean’s wider equipment setup, which also includes the SEBO XP10 vacuum, SEBO DUO system and Dri-Pod drying support. Each has a different purpose. Equipment is selected for the task rather than every machine being used on every item.

Why we avoid calling any machine the industry best

A claim such as industry best needs a defined comparison and evidence. We prefer to explain the machine we actually use and how it fits the cleaning process. The UK-made Ashbys Enforcer is our confirmed equipment; its presence does not justify guaranteed stain removal or a fixed drying time.

Manufacturer ranges include different configurations and optional features. We do not assume an optional heater or accessory is fitted to our machine just because it appears on another product listing. Ask about the process for your item rather than relying on a specification copied from a different model.

What matters when you request a quote

Tell us what needs cleaning, its size, the type of material if known and the marks or smells that concern you. Send photographs and your postcode. Let us know about access restrictions or a room that needs particular planning for drying.

You can see the Enforcer and the other machines on our equipment page and follow the stages on our process page. Then check current prices and ask us to confirm the scope. A useful equipment guide should help you understand the service, not make you choose a pressure setting yourself.

Common questions

Will my sofa be cleaned at 400 PSI?

The maximum machine rating is not a universal working setting. The method, tool and controls must suit the upholstery and its condition.

Does using an Enforcer guarantee every stain will disappear?

No. The material, stain, age, previous treatments and any permanent damage affect the result. Equipment is one part of a careful cleaning process.

Talk to us about your clean
