What carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment does Ultra Clean use?
Ultra Clean uses an Ashbys Enforcer extraction machine with up to 400 PSI capability, a SEBO XP10 commercial vacuum and a SEBO DUO carpet brushing system. A Dri-Pod air mover supports drying. Equipment and settings are selected for the material and condition.
Why do you vacuum before deep-cleaning a carpet?
Pre-vacuuming removes loose dry soil, dust, hair and debris before cleaning solutions are applied. Our SEBO XP10 prepares suitable carpets so later stages can focus on the remaining embedded soiling.
Do you clean every carpet and sofa at 400 PSI?
No. Up to 400 PSI is the capability of our Ashbys Enforcer, not a setting for every item. We adapt the pressure, tools and cleaning method to the carpet or upholstery fabric and its condition.
What does the SEBO DUO do?
The SEBO DUO is a carpet brushing machine with counter-rotating brushes. It helps work through the carpet pile and loosen soiling where brushing is appropriate. SEBO specifies its DUO-P compound system; products and use must follow the relevant machine and carpet instructions.
Do you use the same machines on upholstery as on carpets?
The Ashbys Enforcer can be used for extraction on suitable carpets and upholstery with the appropriate tools and settings. The SEBO XP10 upright and DUO brushing stage are for suitable carpets; upholstery preparation and treatment are adapted to the fabric.
Will the Dri-Pod make my carpet dry immediately?
No. The Dri-Pod promotes airflow to help evaporation, but drying still depends on the material, thickness, ventilation, room temperature and retained moisture. We discuss drying and aftercare for your particular clean.
